We are looking for a Sr. M&S Software Engineer to add their skills to our team supporting rapid prototyping efforts within our Advanced Digital Analysis & Prototyping Testbed (ADAPT). This is an exciting and dynamic job opportunity where you'll not only work on mission-critical projects but lay the groundwork for a diverse set of additional research and development opportunities.This job is 100% onsite with flexible work schedule through occasional remote telework and/or alternative work schedule. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required. Full remote work will be considered on a per instance basis.Responsibilities include:

Work as part of an engineering team to design and implement rapid prototypes for a broad range of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) and Command and Control (C2) challengesUse and develop cutting-edge modelling and simulation tools and algorithms to help address some of the most challenging issues regarding automation across the intelligence cycle for the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DOD)Design, develop, and perform mission scenarios and vignettes to determine mission, system, and component performance in real-time and faster-than-real-time systemsPerform modeling and simulation evaluations that optimize mission performance for systems across the air, land, sea, space domainsUse, develop, and modify tools in support of data generation and analysisTake ownership of code bases from design, implementation, maintenance, and testConfigure and utilize capabilities from both internal and external sources, to include modeling and simulation toolsParticipation in the Agile development process and employing DevSecOps best practicesSupport customer demonstrations, integration events, and field experimentsLead tasking of yourself and other developers including decomposing high-level tasks into smaller more manageable issues/tasksStrong organization skills with the ability to multi-task, readily adaptable to change, and respond to quick turn-around requestsWilling to travel (Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or science field Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience (3 years of experience with a MS degree) Capable of leading a small team of software and test engineers, including managing tasks and scheduleCreative and innovative problem solver with a diverse background of experiencesUnderstanding multiple system interactions and the ability to investigate and diagnose issues across multiple applicationsExperience performing software coding, testing, validation, and verification activitiesProficient in programming and scripting languages, e.g. Java, Python, Bash/BatchExperience using collaborative source code management (Git, Subversion), Agile Development, and DevSecOps Experience with Windows and Linux Development EnvironmentsPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Active Top Secret Clearance
  • Motivated collaborator with internal and external teams
  • Practical understanding of space and/or ground systems, hardware, software, operations, and their interdependence
  • Experience in real-time or time critical processing pipelines and common networks and protocols
  • Experience with front-end development including geospatial and situational awareness UI/UX
  • Familiarity with AI supported decision making, Machine-Learning, Autonomy, or real-time mission management
  • Familiarity with one or more: RADAR, EW
  • Cloud Native Technologies experience, e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Harbor, Helm
  • Familiarity with Automated DevSecOps pipeline tools, e.g. GitLab, Jenkins, Bitbucket
  • Familiarity with UML/ SysML and associated modeling software to support system development and SoS development, e.g. Magic Draw, Cameo, Rhapsody
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following: AFSIM, STK, DIADS, NGTS or other relevant operational simulation and analysis toolsPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $92290 - $156860Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
