- Job Details
- The Emergency Department (ED) Technician is a healthcare professional who plays a key role in the ED setting.
- The ED Technician is responsible for providing BLS care to ED patients in collaboration with ED Registered Nurses and Physicians.
- The ED Technician is also responsible for performing specialized skills including custom orthopedic splinting, assisting physicians with orthopedic casting, phlebotomy, application of dressings, preparing patients for suturing.
- The ED techs also play an important role in bioterrorism & disaster preparedness including preparation for response to a mass influx of patients.

    - Nights, 7p-7:30a
    - 3x12s, 36 hours
    - every other weekend
    - every other holiday
