  • Come to beautiful Boston, MA for your next travel assignment! This Level I facility is looking for an IR tech for a travel assignment.
  • Must have ARRT and BLS.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have Interventional Radiology, Vascular Surgery, and Neuroendovascular experience.
    • Stroke call experience is a must.
    • ARRT, BLS; ARRT, MA License & BLS required.
    • Common cases (IR & Cath lab): Central venous catheters, paracentesis/thoracentesis, GI tube management, fistulagram, GI bleeds, Y-90
    • Neuro IR: diagnostic cerebral angiograms and interventions, Strokes - thrombectomies
    • Vascular Surgery: EVAR, TEVAR, and LE angio/interventions
    • Must be comfortable speaking up and asking questions.
      • Schedule Information
      • The position is 40 hrs week, 4-10 hr shifts with rotating on-call shifts.
      • Weekend Requirement - Rotating Call Only
      • Call Requirement - Once the traveler is working independently, they will orient them to call.
      • Response time for call is ideally 30 minutes. Max of 45 minutes.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • The staff is very knowledgeable and open to teaching.
        • The last travel nurse stayed on per diem.
          • Additional Details
          • No Prescreen - Manager will interview.
          • Housing assistance - Leads available upon request.
          • 415 Bed Hospital - Level 1 Trauma Certified & Stroke center
          • Staff in IR are tight knit.
          • Floor specific orientation - Orientation with a preceptor. Orientation time is flexible.
